Event Information

The 135th Honiton Agricultural Show takes place on Thursday 6th August 2026, held as always on the first Thursday in August at the Association’s 140-acre site in the heart of the East Devon countryside.

One of the largest single-day agricultural shows in the country, the Honiton Show draws more than 20,000 visitors, over 1,000 livestock entries and upwards of 400 trade exhibitors each year, making it one of the most significant social and business gatherings in the region. Agriculture comes first here: the show exists to celebrate and promote local farming, rural skills, crafts and produce, and that sense of purpose gives it an atmosphere that’s genuinely distinctive.

The West of England Hound Show, the second largest in the country, is hosted at Honiton and attracts packs from across the British Isles. Farms Competitions run throughout the year, with classes ranging from barley to silage, feeding into the wider show programme.

The Honiton and District Agricultural Association is a registered charity with a membership of over 500. Each year the elected President nominates an official charity, which is given the opportunity to raise funds on the day. The Association also makes annual donations to a range of local, agricultural and educational causes.
