Poltimore House is a Grade II* listed 16th century country house set in 13 acres outside Exeter in Devon. The house was originally built for Richard Bampfylde in 1560 and the Treaty of Exeter was signed at the House in 1646.
Poltimore House has a rich history and was used as a school and hospital in the 20th century. Despite the terrible fire in April 2024, Poltimore Trust is working hard to bring Poltimore House back to life as a major asset for the community hosting various cultural events. It has a spacious café, co-working space and farm shop.
