New restaurant and bar: Darts Farm

Family-run Darts Farm is launching a new restaurant and bar. Based just outside Exeter, The Farm Table and its new Terrace Bar will open on 15 July.

Initially serving lunches and dinners from Friday to Sunday, The Farm Table will use the best farm produce cooked over fire.

Michael Dart, who runs Darts Farm alongside his two brothers, James and Paul, said: ‘The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm and into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught, and crafted on our doorstep. We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible. If it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan producers, farmers, and fisherman who share our passion for flavour.’

Enjoy locally produced food cooked with simplicity

The food on offer includes slow-fermented sourdough pizza topped with artisan cheese and charcuterie from some of the best producers in the country. You will be able to choose from a huge selection of hand-selected wines, beers, ciders, and spirits as well as award-winning wines from Darts Farm’s own Pebblebed Vineyard and ciders crafted in the on-site cidery by in-house cider maker Barny from Sandford Orchards.

The Terrace Bar is the perfect venue for al fresco drinks and snacks. Here you can soak up the views of the estuary while sipping a pre-dinner drink. Or settle in for the evening and enjoy a sharing platter or freshly baked pizza.

The Farm Table and Terrace Bar join a range of dining opportunities at Darts Farm. You can choose from an extensive menu in the traditional restaurant, indulge in waffles, homemade artisan gelato, bean-to-bar chocolate, and wood-fired pizzas in the Cow & Cacao cafe, or grab a takeaway from the Fish Shed or The Shack.

Don’t forget to sample some desserts

The Farm Table will serve dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings and lunches on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Terrace Bar will be open on Friday and Saturday evenings for snacks and drinks.

Opening times and additional information can be found on the Darts Farm website.
