Topsham

Topsham is a quaint and historic estuary port; yet despite its quiet, rural setting it manages to retain an eclectic cluster of specialist shops and fine restaurants.

If you’re a nature lover, Topsham’s one of the best places for watching sunsets above the estuary, while the narrow Goat Walk beside the Exe estuary also offers wonderful views. The charming passenger ferry takes passengers and cyclists across the River Exe for pleasant walks and pub lunches at two idyllic spots, The Turf and Double Locks.

Topsham has plenty of fine food in the town itself, with numerous pubs and restaurants for fine dining. The town is so proud of its food and drink community is celebrated every summer at the Topsham Food Festival.
