About Us

Both a pub and restaurant, expect impressive cooking from head chef Matthew Mason, good local beers like Otter Ale, nearly a hundred different wines and an extremely warm welcome from Paul Parnell and his team. Every dish is seasonal and a number of them now feature in ‘The Jack Cook Book’ with £5 from every copy going straight to the FORCE Cancer charity in Exeter.

There’s also a stylish courtyard for dining alfresco in the summer. As a venue, the Jack can host wedding receptions, conferences, large parties and breakfast meetings. Recent double winner of Exeter Living’s 2017 ‘Gastro Pub of the Year’ and Food Magazine’s 2017 ‘Best Foodie Pub of the Year’.
