Established in 2009 the Budleigh Literary Festival provides a range of interesting author events, fascinating workshops, and fun-filled family activities over five days each September.

As a registered charity the festival organises bestselling and inspirational authors to go into schools and colleges in the East Devon area. It is running a special appeal in 2022 – ‘Books for Kids’ to enable more school children to have a book of their own.
