Goren Festival

Goren Festival returns to the wildflower meadows of Goren Farm for a weekend of live music, wildlife and wide-open space. Set in 70 acres of working farmland near Stockland, it’s a genuinely nature-led family festival with a relaxed, unhurried ethos that’s increasingly rare.

The festival runs from Friday evening through to Sunday, with camping across two nights in the orchard field. Music plays across multiple stages and pop-up spots throughout the farm, with artists also taking part in workshops and fireside sessions between performances. There’s an open mic workshop for musicians of all levels who want to get involved, and intimate spaces dotted around the site for informal playing and listening.

Children aged 5 to 15 are particularly well catered for. The meadows, hedgerows and streams are safe to explore freely, and a dedicated programme includes yoga, circus skills, forest school, bug and butterfly spotting, storytelling, a school disco and expert-led wildlife stands. Nature and adventure trails wind through the farm for those who want to range a little further.

Food is affordable and locally sourced where possible, with wood-fired pizza, hand-reared beef, falafel, Greek food, freshly made coffee and cakes, and cream teas among the options.

Family camping is in the orchard field, close to the evening events. Campervans have a separate field. Booking is essential and online only. Gates open from 3pm on Friday and from 7am on Saturday. The site clears by 3pm on Sunday.
