Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival

Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival has been a highlight of the East Devon events calendar for 16 years. Running for five days each September, with a shorter two-day festival in March, it brings a wide range of authors, broadcasters, commentators and poets to the town, alongside children’s authors, illustrators and creative workshops. The festival also showcases local writers, highlighting the talent based across East Devon. As a charity, it works closely with local primary and secondary schools to help inspire a love of books.
