Taking Off The Mask: Uncovering The Mind of a Serial Killer Experience

PLEASE NOTE: 20% of the presenters fee will be donated to The Royal British Legion

Are you curious about what lies beneath the surface of criminal behaviour, and would you like to know more? This unique and exciting day will show you many true crime cases, that the public ordinarily does not get to see. Steve returns to the Guildhall after his visit in November, last year when he presented “Inside The mind of Adolf Hitler”

Join us for an exciting experience where we dive into the fascinating world of criminal and forensic psychology. Learn about criminals’ minds, the science behind their actions, and how forensic psychologists work to uncover the truth.

All the sessions will refer to, and unfold cases that Steve Gaskin was involved with as a former Scotland Yard Detective Chief Inspector & criminal psychologist:

The course is run by Steve who…

Was a senior detective in the Metropolitan Police Service
Is a qualified teacher and lectures on criminal psychology throughout the UK and further afield
Is currently in the middle of a UK theatre tour called “Manhunter & Mindhunter”
Has assisted in the production of some UK prime-time true crime TV programmes, including Wayne Couzens-Killer in Plain Sight (Channel 5), The Playboy Bunny Club Murders (ITV Catch up) A Killer Makes a Call British Airways Killer(Feb 2025 Channel 5)

Guests will enjoy access to famous offender profiles, learn how to measure criminal psychopathy, and how to measure aggression and violence.

Finally, you will get signposting to psychology courses

Current students (at any level) will receive a £10 discount – evidence of study will be required
