Join us on 22nd April to celebrate Earth Day at the Library at 2pm where we’ll be hosting a special screening of Jo in the Water followed by a Q&A.
The film follows a passionate sea swimmer turned reluctant activist, Exmouth-based Jo Bateman, as she takes on one of the UK’s biggest water companies in a David-and-Goliath battle to protect our waters from devastating sewage pollution.
Our Q&A will be compered by Transition Exmouth’s Lou Doliczny – with Fanchea McKinley, a ‘sewage sister’ with Jo Bateman from the start; and Sideshore’s Nicky Nicholls on our Exmouth’s community legal claim against South West Water.
Tickets only £3.23 for library members.
