Sidmouth Science Festival began in 2012 with a weekend of events and has now expanded to ten days, becoming one of Sidmouth’s most popular festivals, taking place in October each year. Our purpose is to inform, inspire, promote and advance public education in scientific disciplines, showing how they impact on our everyday lives. Our focus is on the STEM subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
With a strong emphasis on making science accessible, the festival features a programme of activities that cater to both enthusiasts and those who may not typically engage with scientific topics.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
