Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week

Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week is one of the town’s biggest summer traditions, a nine-day celebration run entirely by volunteers to raise money for the RNLI. It’s been going since the 1970s and still pulls in crowds of locals and visitors every year.

Expect the bathtub race from Cobb Gate to the harbour, a swimming challenge for all ages, crab fishing, tug-of-war, sandcastle building, live music and plenty of classic seaside fun along the way. It’s warm, community-spirited and genuinely one of the best weeks to be in Lyme Regis.
