Event Information

Burns Night at Lympstone Manor Pool House Restaurant

Four course dinner with accompanying wines plus drinks on arrival, canapes, coffee and petit fours

For those who are interested in Burns Night which marks the anniversary of Robert Burns birth on the 25th January 1759 and celebrates his life and work, we are to host a dinner here at Lympstone Manor in our Pool House Restaurant with a selection of wonderful traditional Scottish dishes matched with a selection of wines that cover a range of regions and wine styles for this celebration of Scottish fare.

History can trace the origin of Burns Night back to a number of Burns’ close friends who decided to come together and mark the fifth anniversary of their friends death. The traditional Scottish dinner will also include live bagpipe music and the time honoured tradition of the “ode to the haggis” and a toast or two to the great bard himself!

The evening will commence at 7.00pm with canapés and some fizz, taking seats at 7.30pm in the Pool House dining area for a fun evening of Scottish food and fine wines from around the world.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lympstone Manor.
