Welcome to Branscombe

Situated on the south coast between Seaton and Sidmouth, Branscombe is one of the most relaxing villages you’ll find along the Jurassic Coast. It’s thought that Branscombe might be the longest village in England, with streets lined with colourful cottages and thatched houses sweeping through the valley down to the sea.

The village has two National Trust properties, The Old Bakery and The Forge, which is thought to be the oldest working thatched forge in England.

The Branscombe area is a walker’s delight; the South West Coast Path runs from either side of the village and whichever way you go, you’ll be blessed with amazing views and plenty of wildlife to spot.
