Welcome to Beer

The picture-postcard village of Beer sells itself as a “little piece of heaven” and it’s easy to see why; its shingle beach boasts a fleet of working fishing boats, while the white chalk cliffs provide a natural suntrap sheltering the cove of westerly winds.

Explore the Beer Quarry Caves, a vast man-made complex of underground caverns created by centuries of quarrying the famous Beer Stone, or stroll through the magnificent horitculture of Bicton Gardens.

The village has a wide range of excellent B&Bs and guest houses to choose from, so it can make for a great base for exploring what East Devon has to offer.
